Sirona's Orthophos SL 3D is a breakthrough X-ray imagine device that allows dentists and clinicians the ability to take astonishingly sharp 2D and 3D images. The entire jaw can be scanned in one shot in record time! Because of the integrated workflow in digital imaging, dentists are able to make accurate diagnoses. It also allows us to improve treatment outcomes in all areas of dentistry including but not limited to dental implants and root canal treatment.
DENTAL 3D PRINTER
Here at St. Croix Family Dentistry we have and routinely use a dental 3D printer to print nightguards, crowns, dentures, and surgical guides for our dental implant treatment. This allows us to more effectively and efficiently treat your specific dental needs.
CEREC SAME DAY CROWNS
Another fantastic offering from Sirona, CEREC (or Charside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) is a computer-assisted method of restoring missing or damaged teeth. The system first scans the inside of the mouth, creating computer model that accurate to an extremely precise degree. CEREC offers patients a chance to receive tailor-made crowns that perfectly fit their mouths. The best part of CEREC crowns is that they can be done in one visit!
